A diet that revolves around fruits and vegetables has also been shown to help prevent strokes and diabetes. In one study, it was found that carnivores were more at risk of stroke than vegetarians by thirty percent. Vegetarians tend to have less body weight and consequently lower blood pressure. Studies have also determined that people who rarely consume fruit or vegetables are more at risk of developing diabetes than those who consume them on a regular basis.

Prime rib and filet mignon aren’t exactly cheap. When you look at things holistically, vegetarian lifestyles make a lot of sense.
